Economics and physics in sync.

Summer: a heat-reflecting shield

The coating reflects and selectively blocks solar energy - part of the radiation passes through, part is absorbed, and part is reflected back outside before it heats the interior. The air conditioning gets a rest. Effect: an end to the heat indoors and up to 70% lower air-conditioning bills.

Winter: a transparent thermos

Heat energy from radiators and underfloor heating is absorbed by the thermal coating and partly reflected back into the room. The "cold glass" effect is greatly reduced and heating bills drop. Effect: the "cold glass" is gone and thermal comfort improves.

No. The film transmits 70-72% of visible light (VLT) - the window stays bright. The coating works in the infrared and UV bands, not by tinting.

No. Active TT is a nanocoating, not sputtered metal - it creates no mirror effect, either from the inside or the outside.
